The OEKO TEX standard was born in response to malpractice at some manufacturing companies. Prior to the introduction of the standard there was no common standard for manufacturers to adhere to in the textile industry. Our factory operates the OEKO TEX standard ensuring our consumers have peace of mind that their products are created in a manner that is both not harmful to those producing the garments and not harmful to our end customers. In addition our facility is fully compliant to ISO 9001, an internationally recognised certification that ensures quality management systems are in place to consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements.

The SEDEX standard was developed to ensure that ethical and social responsibility exists within Global supply chains. The standards ensure governance in Labour Standards, Health and Safety, The Environment and Business Ethics. At our factory we pride ourselves on these principles.

Following concerns about PFA’s/chemicals in school uniforms our garments have been independently tested and can confirm that there are no PFA’s/chemicals used in our Uniforms.
GCL International independently tested our products and found no issues as per the certificate enclosed.
We have also contacted our yarn suppliers who confirm there are no PFAs in the yarn they supply.

Traditional cotton harvesting methods can have a negative impact on the environment. The resources needed to harvest the cotton is contributing to environmental decay. Because we care about this we support the Better Cotton Initiative.
The Better Cotton Initiative is a global sustainability system that ensures that cotton is ethically produced in a sustainable way. Starting at the farms, Cotton is one of the crops that uses pesticides and chemicals. The BCI has helped provide sustainable farming techniques and control strategies that limit the use of these pesticides, use water efficiently, care for the health of the soil with the aim to preserve the natural habitat.
When this cotton meets our production floor we know where it has come from. The manufacturing techniques we use are less harmful to the environment. We even monitor the cleanliness of the water at our dye house.
