Our production facility is fully compliant to internationally recognised standards assuring our customers that their products are produced in an ethically and socially responsible manner. Our other unique proposition is that our production is solely owned by us. This means that we are in control of adherence to these standards and are not in the hands of any other party.
The standards employed at Beezer’s manufacturing plant include Oeko-Tex, SEDEX, WRAP and ISO9001
The OEKO TEX standard was born in response to malpractice at some manufacturing companies. Prior to the introduction of the standard there was no common standard for manufacturers to adhere to in the textile industry. Our factory operates the OEKO TEX standard ensuring our consumers have peace of mind that their products are created in a manner that is both not harmful to those producing the garments and not harmful to our end customers.
Our OEKO-TEX Certificate can be found here.
The SEDEX standard was developed to ensure that ethical and social responsibility exists within Global supply chains. |The standards ensure governance in Labour Standards, Health and Safety, The Environment and Business Ethics. At our factory we pride ourselves on these principles.
Our SEDEX accreditation can be found here.
The WRAP standard is based in 12 abiding principles,
- Compliance with Laws and Workplace Regulations
- Prohibition of Forced Labor
- Prohibition of Child Labor
- Prohibition of Harassment or Abuse
- Compensation and Benefits
- Hours of Work
- Prohibition of Discrimination
- Health and Safety
